Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information we collect when you register for the Smart Mosque AI Skills Day, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.
Who we are
"Smart Mosque" is a programme operated by Infraly Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (the data controller). For any privacy question, or to exercise your rights below, contact us at events@smartmosque.co.uk.

- How you heard about the event (optional)
- Any note you choose to add (optional)
- The number of seats and the amount paid
Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
Why we use it and our legal basis
We use your information only to register you for the event, confirm your place, and contact you with details about the day. Our legal basis is your consent (given when you submit the form) and the performance of our agreement to provide your place at the event.
Where it is stored
Your registration is stored in a secured database (Supabase) and in Stripe for the payment record. Access is restricted to the people running the event.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We share it only with the service providers needed to run the event, namely Stripe (payment processing) and our hosting and email providers. The event is held at the British Muslim Heritage Centre; we do not pass your personal details to the venue unless required for entry or safety.
How long we keep it
We keep your registration details only for as long as needed to run the event and meet our records obligations, and we delete or anonymise them within 6 months after the event (28 June 2026). Stripe retains payment records for the period required by law.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access, correct or delete your information, to restrict or object to its use, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email events@smartmosque.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
Children
The event is recommended for ages 12 and over. If an attendee is under 18, registration should be made or approved by a parent or guardian.
